Methodology

Research covered eBay sold/completed listings, Chrono24, published results from Phillips, Christie's, Sotheby's, Antiquorum, and Bonhams (plus regional houses: Bruun Rasmussen, Dawsons, Blenheim, Wilson55, Sworders, Fellows, Dorotheum, Kaplans, Bamfords, FauveParis), timed-online platforms (Watch Collecting, Grailzee, Bezel, Loupe This, Catawiki), aggregation pages (EveryWatch), and viewable enthusiast marketplaces (Omega Forums, WatchUSeek, Analog:Shift, HQ Milton, Watch Club London, Bulang and Sons) for the week of October 4-10, 2026. Realized prices are sales confirmed as completed with a published price and an in-window date; the two auction sales this week carry approximate USD prices via EveryWatch aggregation (original listing currencies were not readable in text fetches) and are labeled as such. Asking prices are current dealer listings, labeled as such and never mixed with realized figures. Prices are reported as listed; no currency conversion was applied. Coverage notes: eBay item pages returned upstream 500 to text fetches, so the nationalrarities 145.022-69 auction (ended October 4) has no verifiable outcome and is not counted; Chrono24 publishes no sold data (asking-only); EveryWatch is bot-gated, so its figures are approximate; dealer sold archives publish no sold dates, so none could be placed in-window; the Analog:Shift 'Michael Collins' Ultraman sold flip of October 6 reversed and the watch is back live - not a sale; Bonhams NY (Oct 8) and Bonhams London (Oct 7) online-sale lot lists were not fully scannable (residual gap). Glass Case inputs: the nightly listing watch's off-board layer (removal is never a confirmed sale) for October 4-9 recorded eBay rows off-board (a 105.002 at $12,000 asking on Oct 5; fifteen rows Oct 6; a 105.003 Ed White +Box at $18,179.56 asking Oct 7; a CK 2915-2 at $51,773 asking and five CK 2998 rows Oct 8), Chrono24 first-page churn (52 rows Oct 4, largely coverage churn), and Analog:Shift/HQ Milton sold-archive coverage churn (Oct 2-9). The October 9 eBay leg did not run - a coverage gap, not zero activity. Gaps are reported honestly - no sales were invented or estimated.

Asking prices are only one signal. Where a sale is confirmed, the realized figure is labeled as such; everything else is an asking price, and treated accordingly.
