Some rooms you enter through a door. Others, you are invited into. This is the study behind Speedmaster Gonzales™ — for collectors who believe a watch is worth understanding before it is worth owning.
The site will always be free to wander — the Star Chart, the Glass Case, the Trends, the Rarities. The Circle is something quieter: the inner room. The Saturday numbers in full, the Morning Brief, first quiet word when a piece from the collection is occasionally available, and the Collector's Library as it is written.
Nothing here is sold. It is joined, reserved, requested, offered. There are no countdown timers and no discount codes — the charter terms below are simply what they are, stated once, the way these things are done.
$30 / YEAR · CHARTER RATE
Fifty-seven chairs in the room — 57 places remain.
$10 / MONTH · OR $100 / YEAR
The Founding Circle's door closes on October 10, 2026, or when the fifty-seventh place is confirmed — whichever comes first. Afterward, membership continues at the regular rate of $50 a year, subject to availability. The charter rate is held for as long as your membership runs continuously.
Numbered reference editions, written slowly and bound — digitally, for now — like the small-press volumes they deserve to be. Vol. I is in preparation. Founding members will be the first to receive each edition, and the first to know what the next one holds.
From time to time, a piece from the collection changes hands. These are never listed publicly and never hurried. The Circle hears of them first — privately, the way these things have always been done. If you are in the room, you will know.
Write to [email protected] to request a place. Every request receives a personal reply, and payment is arranged manually — deliberately so. Nothing is automated, nothing is charged without your hand on it, and nothing renews on its own: when the year turns, you receive a letter, and you may answer it or not.
The charter offering ends — either at fifty-seven confirmed places or on October 10, 2026, whichever comes first. Afterward, membership continues at the regular rate of $50 a year, subject to availability. The charter rate of $30 a year is held only for founding members, for as long as their membership runs continuously.
No. Market data is published for information and education — never as investment advice. Asking prices are what sellers hope for; realized prices are what buyers actually paid. Neither predicts the future. The Circle is for collectors who understand the difference.
Yes. The Brief is available on its own at $10 a month or $100 a year — write to the same address and say so. It carries the same market-data understanding as everything else published here.
