Each week, Speedmaster Gonzales™ tracks realized sales and notable public listings for nine vintage references — from the CK 2915 of 1957 through the 145.022-71. Prices are shown exactly as listed, in their original currency; a figure appears here only when it can be substantiated.

Methodology

Research covered eBay sold/completed listings, Chrono24, published results from Phillips, Christie's, Sotheby's, Antiquorum, and Bonhams (plus regional houses: Wilson55, Sworders, Dawsons, Fellows, Dorotheum, Kaplans, Bamfords, Blenheim, FauveParis), timed-online platforms (Watch Collecting, Grailzee, Bezel, Loupe This, Catawiki), aggregation pages (EveryWatch, WatchRecon), and viewable enthusiast marketplaces (Omega Forums, WatchUSeek, Analog:Shift, HQ Milton, Watch Club London, Bulang and Sons) for the week of September 27-October 3, 2026. Realized prices are sales confirmed as completed with a published price and an in-window date; asking prices are current dealer listings, labeled as such and never mixed with realized figures. Prices are reported as listed; no currency conversion was applied. Coverage notes: direct eBay page fetches were blocked on research day (findings rest on indexed snippets plus the nightly watch's live-verified context); Chrono24 publishes no sold data, so it counts as asking-price-only coverage; dealer sold archives rarely publish sold dates; the Catawiki ST 105.003 no-reserve lot (107038574) closed October 2 with price not stated - no sale inferred; the Dawsons 145.012-68 SP lot 314 publishes a sold price (£5,500) but no auction date - not verifiable in-window. Glass Case inputs: the nightly listing watch's off-board layer (removal is never a confirmed sale) recorded a Chrono24 105.012 (was $15,014 asking, off October 1), a Chrono24 145.012 (was $11,057 asking, off October 1), three Chrono24 145.022-69s ($5,314-$7,973 asking, off October 1), the Chrono24 'Trilogy' 3-watch set ($69,775 asking - not a standalone CK 2998 sale, off October 1), fifteen eBay rows (off October 1, incl. a 105.012-66CB auction that ended with zero bids - an ended auction, not a sale - and a CK 2998-3 at $24,949.95 asking with 160 watchers), an eBay 105.002 ($12,020.01 asking, off October 2 after one day live), Grailzee ended-auction churn (September 27-28, none with stated sold prices), and Analog:Shift archived-sold-row coverage churn (October 2, no live listings lost). Gaps are reported honestly - no sales were invented or estimated.

Asking prices are only one signal. Where a sale is confirmed, the realized figure is labeled as such; everything else is an asking price, and treated accordingly.
