Information collected
- Contact information you provide directly: your name, email address, and mobile phone number when you subscribe to a product, sign up for alerts, or write in.
- Subscription records: which products or alerts you subscribe to, consent confirmations, and opt-out requests.
- Site usage data: anonymized analytics about how the site is used, used only to improve the publication.
How it is used
- To deliver the products and alerts you sign up for.
- To respond to correspondence and corrections.
- To improve the site and its content.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Your information is never sold. It is shared only with the service providers required to operate the site and deliver your subscriptions — for example, the messaging provider that carries SMS alerts — and only to the extent needed to provide those services.
SMS alerts (Live Wire)
When you subscribe to Live Wire SMS alerts, you provide your mobile phone number and explicit consent to receive SMS messages about notable vintage Speedmaster arrivals, confirmed sales, and off-board events. Message frequency varies with market activity — some weeks bring several alerts, others none. Message and data rates may apply.
Mobile numbers are never shared. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message. To get help, reply HELP. Opt-out requests are honored promptly and your number is placed on a do-not-contact list.
Cookies and analytics

Data security
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are in place to protect the information collected. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Children
This site is intended for adult collectors. Information is not knowingly collected from children under 13.
